Sustainable Swimwear, Made in Italy

At Masarà, sustainability is not a trend — it’s a responsibility.
Our swimwear is designed in Milan and crafted in Italy using regenerated materials, ethical manufacturing, and conscious production methods. Every Masarà piece is made to last beyond seasons, respecting both people and planet.

Our Practices

Embracing Innovation, Embracing Change

We are proud members of the ECONYL® community, utilising their premium regenerated nylon sourced from post-consumer waste. The ECONYL® Regeneration System transforms waste into wonder. By collecting discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, and industrial plastic from around the globe, they prevent pollution and create a sustainable solution.

Our fabrics are sourced from Carvico, using Vita fabric composed of 78% ECONYL® and 22% elastane, certified according to OEKO-TEX® standards to ensure safety for both skin and environment.

Locally Crafted, Globally Conscious

All Masarà swimwear is produced in Lombardy, Italy, close to Milan.

Working with local manufacturers allows us to reduce our carbon footprint, support artisanal expertise, and ensure consistent quality through regular, direct collaboration and small-batch production.

Beyond the Fabric

Sustainability goes beyond swimwear.

Our packaging is intentionally minimal and fully recyclable. We use FSC®-certified paper, VELA recyclable paper bags, and water-activated paper tape. Our tags are made from Alga Carta, a paper derived from recycled algae that contributes to the restoration of endangered lagoon ecosystems.

Even our stickers are printed on recycled paper, because every detail matters.
