Swimwear that's easy to live in.

Masarà, Milanese for soaking wet.

A natural, second-skin fit. Sewn near Milan in small quantities.

No knots, no charms, no padding.

Nothing unnecessary. Just swimwear made to be easy to live in.

No knots, no charms

No side knots making bumps under a pareo, no metal heating up in the sun, no straps drawing tan lines.

No padding, no wire

One layer of Italian fabric that moves with you instead of arguing with you. Opaque wet or dry.

Stays where you put it

Every piece is tested in the water, on a body, before it goes into production. Edges hold their shape instead of rolling.

How each piece fits
My days by the sea rarely ended when the beach did.
Patmos, where Masarà started

My days by the sea rarely ended when the beach did.

So the Niki is cut like a bodysuit. Trousers or a skirt go straight over it, and it dries quickly enough for lunch.

I am not going to tell you that buying a swimsuit saves the sea.

I am not going to tell you that buying a swimsuit saves the sea.

I make less instead. Small runs, sewn by the same company near Milan that made the first Niki, in a fabric regenerated from waste. Colours sell out. Some come back. Some do not.

I still answer fit questions myself.
