Three ways to wear the Pirate headband

The Pirate headband is cut from the same fabric as our swimwear, from what is left over once the swimsuits are made. It comes in the colours of the palette, so it can match your swimsuit exactly or bring in a second colour. Here are three ways to wear it, from the most adventurous to the neatest.

1. Pirate style

The headband sits around the head, covering it, and the two ends are knotted at the back, over the hair.

This is the version that gave the headband its name: the most adventurous of the three, with the hair falling free from under the knot.

2. The classic

The headband goes across the top of the head, open to its full width, and the ends are knotted at the nape. The long ends fall over the hair and the shoulders.

Wide at the front, soft at the back: the most recognisable way to wear it.

3. Folded, like a hairband

The same as the classic, but first the headband is folded in half lengthwise. It sits narrower on the head, and the ends are knotted at the nape.

The line is neater and more graphic, closer to a hairband, and it holds the hair back.

Which one, when

Pirate style is the boldest, the classic the softest, the folded version the neatest. One piece, three different moods.

The Pirate headband comes in Cappuccino Beige, Grape Purple, Paprika Orange, Pistachio Green and Blueberry Blue.
