We clean up after ourselves

E-commerce deliveries have a carbon footprint. That's why we support cutting-edge companies that remove carbon from the air.

Together, participating businesses have…

  • Removed thousands of tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere
  • Provided carbon-neutral shipping on more than ten million orders

Here's how it works: For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.

Let's meet a few of the companies removing our shipping emissions.

Heirloom

Heirloom's direct air capture technology enhances the carbon mineralization process. Heirloom's technology speeds up the rate at which naturally occurring minerals capture CO₂ rather than using energy-intensive fans to draw air in.

Remora

Remora captures CO₂ from semi-truck tailpipes as they drive, with the CO₂ destined for long-term storage.

Charm captures CO₂ using plant waste, converts it into a stable, carbon-rich liquid, and safely stores it deep underground—out of reach of wildfires and soil erosion.

Grassroots Carbon

Helping restore our planet from the ground up.
Grassroots Carbon works with ranchers to turn grasslands into carbon-storing ecosystems through regenerative grazing. Their verified soil carbon credits reward landowners for improving soil health, water retention, and biodiversity—all while capturing CO₂ naturally. Every credit supports healthier land, thriving wildlife, and a cooler planet.

Climeworks

Turning science into action—one molecule at a time.
Climeworks captures CO₂ straight from the air using cutting-edge direct air capture (DAC) technology. The captured carbon is then safely stored underground, permanently removing it from the atmosphere. Their vision? Scale from thousands to millions of tons of CO₂ removed each year, paving the way to a cleaner, climate-positive future.

Mast Reforestation

Rebuilding forests—and hope—after wildfires.
Mast combines advanced reforestation techniques with carbon removal to restore ecosystems across the U.S. West. From collecting native seeds to planting trees and turning forest biomass into long-term carbon storage, Mast helps forests bounce back stronger and more resilient. Their work protects nature, removes CO₂, and gives new life to the landscapes that need it most.
